Epic

Centricity - from General Electric
http://www3.gehealthcare.com/en/Products/Categories/Healthcare_IT/Electronic_Medical_Records/Centricity_EMR

Both are based on the MUMPS database system developed for the U.S. Veteran's Admnistration.  They differ mainly in their interfaces and support systems.

Third spot could be argued.  I'll say:

Allscripts

I think it is also location. EPIC is big (ginormous) here (Silicon Valley). Best patient portal.  Cernier is also big here.

We have eClinicalWorks and I would prefer we used something else. It's more buggy than it should be considering how long the program has existed. Tech support is hit or miss and you have to call on a regular basis to check on fixes or they don't seem to ever materialize. I could go on and on with more detail but I don't want to bore you. If we could switch to anything I would probably pick Epic.
