Thanks for the interesting information.  Unfortunately not all companies are on the up and up so we always have to be on the watch.  It sounds like people have had both good and bad experiences with ABSystems.

When we first began our medical billing career we had researched some of those 'business opportunities' and actually had bought into one.  It turned out to be a scam and after two days of "training" which was a joke we knew it wasn't what it was presented as. 

After about a week of push offs, we started demanding our money back.  To make a long story short, we were able to get a full refund, just before the FTC came in and shut them down.

I'm not saying that all of the companies out there offering business opportunities in medical billing are scams.  I'm just saying to be careful.  There are some that truly provide a good package including training.

The old saying is true though, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
