New to the field. Little confused on when to use a modifier

Currently enrolled in a Medical Billing/Coding class.  Currently tring to complete an assignment.  Very confused as to when to use a modifier, and determine which modifier to use.  Can anyone help?

A little more specific please, there are many modifiers to use for many scenarios.  What is your scenario?

I was going to say the same thing.  The way you worded the question the only one that can help is your instructor.  It would be impossible for someone to explain how & when to use modifiers in a post.
