What is the billing procedure using HCPC code 82272 ?
Can you more than one unit during the course of a month?

Hi Marty,
Thanks for your question. The 82272 code is to be used to report a single specimen. If you are collecting more than one specimen in a month, then you should indicate that in the units. I was unable to find any information that indicates that it is not ok to bill for more than one unit during any time period. Hope that helps.
