Reducing fees for OON patients

Our office is not able to get a contract with a certain insurance because they say there are enough providers in our area that do have contracts so will not give us a contract. 

On that note, can we reduce our fee schedule for any patients that comes in with that insurance so we do not lose any business or do we have to charge the same rates that we charge any other insurance carrier?

Since these patients are cash paying patients to you, you can give them a prompt pay discount if they pay on the DOS (who wouldn't collect the money that day anyway?)
