: Bill for PA
: barbco November 21, 2012, 05:51:00 PM
We have just added a PA to our office. She is billing under the MD's NPI. How do I indicate on the claim MD present or MD not present? All help with PA billing woul'd be appreciated.

I don't believe there is a way to indicate MD present or not present if you are billing under the MD's NPI.  I believe you would bill under the PA's NPI unless it met the criteria for incident to.

I totally agree with Michele!  You would bill under the PA's NPI unless it met the criteria for incident to.
