I am trying to find the CPT code for room and board I have a revenue code for the UB4 form but I have not been able to find a code for the charges so I can bill it. Is there anyone that could help me please. Thank you again in advance

Hi, I know the R&B codes for Hospice services are Revenue codes not CPT codes. If this is what you are referring to than they would be 0658 & 0659 depending on which insurance company you are talking about. Some only recognize one or the other and you would need to check with them. If you are talking about hospice, then someone like the VA would also require a modifier of T2046. Over here in Hawaii, HMSA requires an "S" modifier. Each to his own.
I tread lightly in posting here as I am a "newbie" I have been participating in Hospice billing going on 5 months.
Experts, kindly correct me when I am wrong, I would be mortified to post misinformation. Thank you

You are correct, there are no CPT codes for room and board. Are you referring to field 44? It's not necessary to have a CPT or HCPCS code, you can just enter the description for the room & board.
