Medicare Enrollment Revoked

Hi Ladies!!
I recently began helping a client with a Medicare problem she is having. Medicare requested that she re-verify her info in June and gave her until August to complete, unfortunately it was sent to the wrong address and she didnt receive the info until after the filling time, she was able to submit a CAP appeal showing that she didnt get the info in time, but when she sent the CAP, the application wasnt filled out completely and was not considered for appeal. Now she is completley out of the filling period and Medicare has revoked her from applying again until September of next year. When i called Medicare the rep stated her only option now is to re-send a new 855I application and hope that they take pity on her and process her application. Is there anything else i can do at this point?

I have never heard of them requiring that a provider wait more than 60 days to resubmit an application.  I would definitely resend it.

That is why it is so important for providers to make sure they have someone doing the application that understands what they are doing and can follow it thru.  It can really get messed up if they don't.   :(

Thanks Michelle i was really shocked also when i read the letter myself! Not to sound to political but thats what happens when you send your billing issues to India!..lol..

They outsourced their medicare enrollment to India...?   ???
