: Simplest professions for a newbie to bill

I am a relative newcomer and would like to know what you all feel are the simplest professions for a newbie to start with. My first client was a chiropractor, and he was a nightmare client. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Kevin.

LOL. There's only one client I will REFUSE and that would be a chiropractor <g>

I think there are a few specialties that are pretty easy to start with such as mental health and pediatrics. However I hesitate to tell new billing companies to limit their marketing efforts right now. Most established billing companies will tell you that your specialty will find you rather than you finding "it". Of course you could do what I did.. market all specialties but chiropractic.  I DO NOT BLAME YOU!!

Hi- I do billing for Chiropractors, and agree with Linda they can be difficult to work with, but then so can a lot of other clients. As a new biller you might try orthopedic surgeons or pediatrics, but there is no magic formula. Many times it's simply a matter of finding the biller and client combination that fits, so cast your marketing net wide, (and don't give up on the Chiropractors...there not all bad!) ;D
