Hi, I'm wondering what information you request from a physician before you give them a quote for services? Example # of patients seen weekly, payor mix, aging etc.

Thanks

We usually ask how many pts they see, wkly, monthly, how much their average charges are, how much their receivables are, wkly, monthly, yrly, what problems they are having, how many providers are seeing pts, how much is billed out (vs receivables), are they in network (participating), and what type of services they bill for.....I think that's about it.   :)

I have them also fill out a matrix with all the managed care plans and govt plans they participate with and whether or not they can provide me with the contracts and/or fee schedules. This gives me a great look inside the practice in regards to how organized they are or what I have to do to get started.
