: Reporting codes if Insurance doesnt pay

If the insurance doesn't pay for some specific codes say s9090 should we still submit it for reporting?  So if we are billing the insurance for 98941 etc but they don't pay for s9090 (will be self paid by patient) do we need to include it to the insurance for reporting purposes or can we leave it off of the claim?

I wasn't sure if we had to report it to the insurance company or not.
