DAQbilling
« on: November 16, 2008, 04:18:10 PM »
I am looking into the DAQbilling software.  Does anyone use this and if so how do you like it?  I plan to specialize in mental and behavioral health.  I was wondering if I should get software that is geared specifically to this speciality or if any can work just as well for mental health. ???

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Lesley

I am not familiar with DAQbilling.  I'm hoping someone else will respond.

Even if you plan on specializing in mental health, you may want to get a software that is good for any specialty.  You can't be sure you may not branch out to other areas down the road.

Good luck

Hi Lesley,

I am very familiar with DAQbilling and I also have a list of DAQbilling software users so if you have any questions or if you would like to speak with current users, let me know.  :)

We switched to DAQ for about 90 days and ended up pulling out of it.  It flowed great when it came to charge posting & set up but once we started getting into posting payments, it was slowing us down.

We are getting ready to start reviewing demos again to see if we can find what we are looking for.

Good luck!

I have been using DAQ billing for about 2 years now and absolutely love it.  Their tech support is wonderful and are always available when I run into a problem that I can't solve. I specialize in mental/behavioral health billing and have been in business for over 10 years now.

I recently completed an on-line course in medical billing and had the opportunity to use DAQbilling software from Antek Healthware. It seemed very user friendly to me and the support was great. I ran into a situation with a connection problem and they quickly got on my computer through a go-to-my-meeting site and fixed the problem.

I've decided to use DAQbilling for my start up business, because my experience is less than extensive and the customer support people will probably become my best friends over the next few months.

Thanks everyone for the info.  I like DAQ as well but it is the cost that is getting in the way of me making my final decision.  Cost is an issue but at the same time I don't want to get just anything that is cheap only to have to upgrade in a short period of time.  I want something good now that will last for a good while, but just starting out the cost can be an issue.

Again, thanks for your replies.
Thanks,
Lesley

Yes, the cost of DAQbilling is high. Leonardo MD seems like a good web based option and their customer support appears to be pretty good. Although I question their reliability and I don't think they have been around for all that long. If they went under it would mean big trouble for the billing center. But, If you have any information or thoughts on this software I like to hear them.

I am looking into this software as well because I am taking a course that uses it.  I think price is a big factor in why I may not get it.  I don't want to cheat myself and my clients though  ???
