which reports other than an aging report will show ALL that is outstanding to determine how much may be lost?  I would like to try this approach with potential clients. Thank you

I can't think of anything other than an aging report to accurately show unpaid claims.  Unless you ran some kind of individual ledger report for each patient, but that would be messy.
