Routine Supplies billing

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what might be considered routine or not for supplies. We do wound care and use some routine supplies for the wound, but wanted to know if we use it for the wound can we bill it as such. This is for Home Health Care services.

You can certainly bill for anything that you use, it's a matter of whether or not it will be covered.  I don't have any personal experience with billing for wound supplies but if they are needed for the care of the wound I would think they would be medically necessary.
