Authorizations & Referrals

Hi Michele,
Also in the Mental Health book you talk about getting Authorizations & Referrals for the provider I need advice on how to add this in my fee. What do you guys do if you charge per claim and also in the instance of charging %?

When we do auth/precerts we charge a percent higher than our normal billing fees.  If we are charging by another method, we calculate it out so it is about 1% higher.
