keeping track

how do you keep track of all the claims that have been sent out and dates do you keep a log of some sort?
any advice will help!

Our practice management system keeps track of that.  Then we run aging reports to see what is out over 30 days and we follow up on them.  If you are using a practice management system it should do all the tracking you need.

Currently I'm using Lytec but I'm in the process of switching to a web based software called Xena.  I'm very excited about the switch and am looking forward to the new system.
