SECONDARY PAYERS

Can anyone tell me how to determine primary and secondary balances due say, Blue cross primary and Aetna secondary.
Patient's coinsurance due for Blue Cross 319.00 Aetna coinsurance due 390.00 do i subtract the difference and bill the patient that amount.

Not enough information. Par? Non Par? Adjustment? Deductible? payments?

sorry PAR  80/20 no deductible due, contractual adjustments

Not sure if I'm missing something obvious, but wouldn't you bill the patient the entire coinsurance?  Why would you subtract and only bill for the difference?
