: What is the Statute of Limitations for Health Insurance Carriers in FLORIDA?

:(  Does anyone know:  What is the statute of Limitations for Health Insurance Carriers in the state of Florida?

I have a possible client that has not done Insurance verification on their patients, but have required the patient to pay upfront in full before providing medical services.  It's a substance abuse facility.

Do you mean for submitting claims?  Or for payments?  Or for overpayment requests?  Not sure what limit you are looking for.

Well, for insurance verification and submitting claims.  Since this facility has neither verified nor submitted claims but has accepted patients to be treated.

For submitting claims, it varies by insurance company.  Some are 90 days, Medicare is one year.  Your best be is to file the claims ASAP and start the process.
