5010 Glitches?
« on: January 03, 2012, 10:19:01 AM »
Anyone getting any?  So far so good on my end, but I'm hearing a lot of people getting the address error because they still have the PO box listed when it MUST be a physical address, it's either on the end of the billing company/biller/provider..  OR the fields are not being edited by your clearinghouse.  So far this is the one error/rejection I'm hearing most about.

so far so good.  It makes you wonder what people have been doing all this time to get ready!

I've had 2 glitches with my Clearing house. #1 Billed on 12/20, Blue Shield kicked out 6 claims stating that DOI can not be the same as DOS. #2 Billed on Medicare kicked my whole batch stating that "the submitter not approved for electronic claim submission on behalf of this entity".

So....hiccups, but I'm not panicking yet.  :o
