Hi Michele,

I work in chiro office.  When I submit bills electronically this one patient who uses a reverse gravity therapy machine, it keeps getting kicked back.  After a couple of months I just found out that the code for this is no longer in use(97039).  Do you happen to know of the code they are using now?

Thank you, Cathy

97039 used to be an unlisted physical medicine code.  There is no specific cpt code for reverse gravity therapy.  You could use the 97799 code which is also unlisted physical medicine.  In my experience when you use these unlisted codes you have to include a description of the service so you may not be able to bill it electronically.
