Using Two TIN
« on: September 20, 2011, 11:00:05 PM »
Hello All, from a new user

We have entered into a Professional Service Agreement with a hospital. The billing company wants to use the hospital's TIN and our TIN to bill under. I'm against this and assume the billing company has not done this before. What are a the potential problems or area of concern.

1) co-pays

2)?

Thank You

Michele

I'm sorry but I'm lost.  Could you clarify the situation?  We are a billing service but I don't do hospital billing.  We bill for all of our providers using their TIN.  Not sure if I'm just missing the question or don't understand the situation.
