Phone number

Hi Michele,
When you do patient billing I was wondering where do you put your company phone number do you just add a message to the statement, or do you replace the providers office number?

If you are contracted with the provider to provide that service than you might want your phone number on the patient statements. That's where I had mine. They would have the providers address and tax ID but the phone numbers were listed as his and then they said : Billing Office:  with the phone number so patient's new which number to call about their bill or any other billing issue.

Our patient statements go out with the provider's name and address.  Our phone number is at the bottom with a note 'For billing inquiries call ....".  Then the outer envelope has our name & address.
