Click on the link below.  At the top right corner of the page is a Search box.  Type "work from home" (include the quote marks) into that box and click on "Search".  You will find a number of threads in which that subject is discussed.

If you type telecommute into the Search box, you will get only one thread other than this one.

[Edit]  The following paragraph speaks to your question Does anybody telecommute in the billing field? [/Edit]

We have two offices with databases on multiple servers at each office.  No matter which office we are in, we can access the servers and databases at the other office by using remote access software.  From either office, we also log into our clients' server networks using remote access software.  We use GoToMyPc, but in the threads you read through you will discover that others prefer different remote access software, such as Log Me In.

Just out of curiousity, what are your billing skills, and how long have you been at it?

Please keep in mind that working from home jobs is NOT the same as being a business owner. A business owner has MORE of a chance on getting a client to outsource. Offices and billing companies that hire "employee's" to work from home VS. a third party company or contractor won't save money and in fact will cost them more.  I wrote an article on this a long time ago because like you many people are looking for "jobs" working from home and don' t realize the difference in costs to the "employer" vs. "client".
