Billing for a Mid-wife
« on: November 11, 2008, 11:46:23 AM »
I received a call from a mid-wife yesterday and she is very interested in me billing for her.  I have never billed for a midwife and would like to know if someone could possible shed some light and let me know what I am preparing for.  I know she has a lot of Medicaid claims.  Any advise and/or knowledge would help!

Thanks

Cynthia

Billing for a midwife will be the same as billing for a dr.  Same icd9's same cpts.  Medicaid will be the same too, so if you have experience billing Medicaid you should be fine.
