Doctor adds Chiropractor as part of his practice
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:44:14 PM »
If a Doctor adds a chiropractor to his practice and the doctor refers a patient to the chiropractor during the same visit can each provider charge for a office visit?

If the chiropractor is billing under the drs NPI & EIN then some insurance carriers may not allow for both services on the same date.  It will depend on each carrier/plan and their guidelines.
