NueMd
« on: September 24, 2009, 04:26:02 PM »
Hello, I am considering using NeuMd for my internet based system.  I just spoke to a rep and I am concerned about the price.  Can anyone give me advice on NueMd if they are using/have used it and how much has everyone spent on their software and what are reasonable prices?  Thanks for all of your help in advance!!

I have never used it, sorry. I do prefer web based software programs myself. There is no "best" software to buy, each depends on your business needs, and the needs of your clients. I am using a free software program right now. Advantage (free), disadvantage....some features you get in other software you don't get in this one.

I used to use Lytec.  It cost me $600 at one time but, as said in Young Frankenstein, "The prices have gone up."  I liked it because it was simple to use and modify per my needs.  I havent seen the newer version or played with it.

My last provider used Zirmed, an internet based program. I have no clue on its price.  It required very little training to use, but I can play with software for a few minutes an know how to use it.

Ive also used Versyss, Unisyss, Medical Manager and Centricity.  My comments on those remain private.

What is reasonable is up to the individual.

I agree C4L. As it seems that I am being contacted by more DME providers, my software system will be geared more to accommodate that.
