I have always billed PIP on CMS forms.  It is really not much different than commercial insurance billing.  Some payors are slow to process, or you may have to wait for the case to go to trial.  But the cpt and icd codes are the same.

can you send this electronically or is this a problem because I would think that some doctor's reports would have to be attached?

If the carrier accepts electronic claims they can be.
