I can see hiring an accountant to do your business/personal tax returns. Beyond that, I don't know if you will really have the need to.

Agree with Kristin. When we first started we hired an accountant to do our taxes but we did our billing to providers thru quickbooks. When we hired employees we started out doing our own payroll and taxes but switched to an accountant after a while because it was a bit complicated.

I use Quickbooks and it's pretty good for what I need. I also use TurboTax for Home and business.
