statements
« on: July 27, 2012, 11:08:32 PM »
I am looking for suggestions for software that have easy to read statements and easy to read patient balances.  I want the date of service and payment to print together.  I am thinking something on the following lines.

1/1/12  Medication Management  90862  _________   $90.00
2/1/12     BCBS pmt                                     45.00
2/1/12     BCBS adjustment                         20.00
                Balance                                                             $25.00

I also want to be able to look easily at the screen and see what the patient balance is and to know what the date of service is.

Thanks

What you described should be with any PM software, what software are you currently using?

Medisoft Basic v15 is what I currently use.  I know I am 2 versions behind.  I would like to upgrade to the advanced model but not if the statements are still a mess.  Unfortunately, when I was looking for software, I didn't need anything "fancy".  Medisoft has worked for me and still does for what I need but I am getting ready to expand.

Thanks!

We use Lytec which is similar to Medisoft.  They have many varieties for patient statements.  You need to play around to find the one that best works for you.  Also, many times if data is not input properly (the way the program wants it) the statements will not print good.  Meaning that if you don't enter the info the way the program expects it then the information on the statements is not clear.
