Hi Everyone!

My name is Ivana Saninocencio from Boston, MA. With years of experience in the field and seeing doctors struggle with getting claims paid, to ultimately outsourcing their billing, I've decided to start an outsourcing company of my own. I purchased the Kareo software and designed my website, and started working on all things needed for this. But now I need my first client! Any tips on how I can sign my first contract??  ;D

Congratulations on your decision!  If you search the forum there are many great tips and advice on looking for that first client.  Marketing is definitely the hardest part of medical billing and it can get discouraging.  Remember it takes many nos before you get a yes.  And the first client is the hardest!  Once you get a couple of clients word of mouth and referrals will work in your favor.  There is no magic method, or right thing.  All of us probably have a different method that helped us with that first client.  But there are definitely a ton of suggestions out there for you to check out.  Stay focused and don't get discouraged.  Come back with updates and to look for encouragement when you need it.  It helps to have others who have already been through it to help you out.

I forgot to mention, use your connections from your previous experience.  Let them know what you are doing.  Word of mouth is a great marketing tool.

Plus you can also promote your business on various social media websites. It's a great way to talk and discuss with new clients who may be needing your help.
