Personal Injury (PI Case for state of CA)
« on: March 15, 2018, 04:37:53 PM »
Good Morning!

I have a question and need help.  :(  Do we as a medical provider have to reduce our lien when a contractual lien was sign by our patient and their attorney?  Per attorney, we are require to reduce our lien according to CA civil code 3040(f) under (a) or (b).  If we don't have to give that reduction, is there an actual law code that we can use on the negotiation letter?  Please help.  Thank you in advance.

This is a legal question not a billing question.  SOrry but I'm not qualified to answer this.
