PAP SMEARS

At what age do insurances begin paying for pap smears in general?

The general guideline recommendations is 21, however there are carriers/plans that will cover routine paps/exams, depends on the plan.  Also if there is a medical reason/diagnosis the patient can be any age and it should be covered. Only routine screenings/exams are limited to recommendations/guidelines.
