Both, I am researching more systems in my spare time and want to see how the EHR works.

We use Office Ally (same company) and we love it.  I haven't used the PM system.  I recently was looking at the EHR for a client, but haven't used it enough to comment.

Anybody else??

Michele - I'm not for sure that Practice Fusion & Office Ally are the same company. Are you thinking about Practice Mate?

Practice Fusion is only an EMR. It doesn't have the ability to handle the billing functions. You can print out superbills, export to another system, or it integrates with Kareo - a web based system.

I have become a certified consultant for Practice Fusion and have been very pleased with their performance and features.

Practice Mate & Office Ally are from the same company but Practice mate is full practice management and Office Ally is geared more towards just submitting claims.  I currently use Practice Mate.

I was interested in Practice Fusion for EHR to learn more about it, educate my providers and use as a marketing tool.

You're right.  I got mixed up.  I was thinking Practice Fusion was Office Ally's EHR.  Office Ally/Practice Mate also has an EHR product.  I am not personally familiar with Practice Fusion, but I have spoken to people who use it and they are happy.  However, someone on my newsletter list informed us that Practice Fusion sells the names of their users so I guess nothing is truly free!

Thanks Michele for informing that they sell user name information.  I was just curious as to how their system was and if it was better than using other EHR services.
