Does anyone know of someone specifically high up with Gallagher Bassett through Texas?   Specifically looking to see if anyone knows the new requirements for billing w/c in Texas.

Have you tried calling to ask for the name of someone like a supervisor?

yes I have spoken with many supervisors and receive different answers and even "I have no idea" answers.   Thanks Michele, I had to contact Texas WC and in the process of filing a complaint.

Texas has done some updates for their w/c.  They now require information in specific spots of claim form that if unable to read, they deny.  they want "100 letters in a space for 10 letters".   They now require in 24j and 33b,  OB qualifer, credentials, license number, and state of license.

California changed it's W/C for 2014 and it was like pulling teeth to get the new fee schedule and coding changes. (Yes, they changed codes and the changes couldn't be found) I finally got a printout through someone in the Chiropractic association (that's what I bill) with the new information.  It's RIDICULOUS that the providers have such a tough time getting the information to correctly bill for services they have to provide.  The California W/C web site was a hot mess as well.  What I want to know is why all the hiding?

What I want to know is why all the hiding?

Hiding is a method of rationing health-care dollars.
