dr asked if using 573.3 (hep unsp) will cause lower reimbursement than 070.54 (hep c chronic) or 070.30 (hep p unsp) for any office visits/consults (99202-99205)?  thanks.

With the E/M code range that you have indicated it appears that the MD is treating New Patients in an OV/OP setting.  Your reimbursement is based upon the correct CPT used and not your DX.  DX codes just like your CPT codes MUST always be coding according to correct dcoumentaion
