Bone marrow aspirate
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:43:42 PM »
I have been reading about doctors starting to use Mesenchymal Stem Cells to treat orthopedic indications such as rotator cuffs and intradiscal injections in the spine. Are there any insurance companies covering this type of treatment for those indications?

I am not aware of it being covered.  Usually it's considered "experimental" for some time before they begin covering.
