: You Tube...Good Idea??
: williamportor July 16, 2015, 08:58:02 PM
Hello,

All 5 of my clients have come via cold calls, and my post card direct marketing campaign. My website, and Linked in site have generated nothing after 2 years. I've been thinking of doing a You Tube presentation in the hopes it will generate additional business, or at least drive some traffic to my website, but don't want to shell out $$ for a camera and do a nice presentation if it's going to be ineffective. Has any one here done a You Tube presentation? Has it been effective? Has it generated additional business? If so, how much?

I worked for a billing company that had a Youtube presentation video linked to their website. I don't know that it really did any good, because the company went under, but they did this other thing on their website that I thought was different, that you may want to try.

After they got their first client, and the client was happy with their services, they did a voice recorded testimonial from the client, and added that to their website. It was the doctor and his practice administrator, taking turns talking about how happy they were with the billing company and their services, etc.

You have five clients, so maybe some of them would want to do something like that for you.

I hate video's.. despise them.. I have no patience for them at all. I want to READ at my own pace.  That's just MY opinion. It would have to be a cold day in hell before I did a video.. LOL.   Personally i think for some things they can be effective. I love to watch video's on how to fix my Keurig, or how to unclog my Dyson Vacuum, But to watch an ad via Youtube.. No not likely. And I don't think many doctors are going to sit on youtube and watch them either. J M H O.
