aLLSCRIPTS PM STATEMENTS
« on: June 20, 2013, 02:53:10 PM »
We use Allscripts PM and their statement cost is getting expensive.  If anyone uses Allscripts are there other more
inexpensive ways to send pt statements?

Thanks
Diane

Just curious - do you have the option to create and send them yourself?  If so, how would the cost of doing it yourself compare to what they are charging you to do it for you?

Hi RichardP

I have looked at going that route but the statements that print out of our system are very confusing to read.  I am actually
thinking of changing to an online billing system.  I've talked with some people using TotalMD and seem very happy with it and
it is MUCH cheaper than paying for monthly hardware/software fees for our inhouse server.  Our Allscripts system doesn't do
a lot of reports I need either.
