: Medicare denial code for Facility billing Help!!! Urgent

hi, i have a patient that has United Behavioral health policy that is a Medicare Complete.  UBH states that their new Medicare system denied his claims becuz they cannot identify revenue code 0906 for IOP services.  does anyone know what rev code Medicare recognizes for this service so I can rebill as a corrected claim.    Thank you,

0906 is for intensive outpatient.  I'm not aware of any other rev code for that.  Are they stating it's not a covered rev code or are they stating they cannot locate it?  I don't believe Medicare allows for rehab and that may be the problem.

Their saying they cannot identify it and the denial i got today says it needs a HCPCS code.

Maybe it will go thru with the HCPCs on the same line?  Did you try submitting with both the rev code and the HCPCs?

FOr the HCPC code use the CPT code  of H0015
