99211 with a Pro time
« on: July 09, 2009, 10:12:17 AM »
I went to a seminar yesterday and the instructor stated that in Ohio, you could not charge a 99211 with a pro time test or UA's. Is this correct and if so, how can it be coded so that we get enough rembursment to cover the cost of the test and time spent? Thank you!!  ;D

What was the seminar and what are the credentials of the instructor?  It's important to know who you are getting information from.  I am not familiar with that rule, but I don't bill in Ohio.  It sounds like it is more specific to one carrier, it cannot be an across the board for Ohio thing.  Each carrier has their own processing rules.
