OP/IOP CPT Codes

We recently started OP and IOP Treatment services at our agency, but we cannot get the proper CPT codes. We have clients with private insurance and we need to file reimbursement claims ASAP. We need CPT codes for IOP,OP, Case Management & Individual Treatment.

First stop would be to tell the rendering provider you need the billing codes. It's going to come down to their documentation. The CPT describes the "services" rendered at each instance. So it's not like there are CPT codes for IOP or case management. My suggestion is to get a certified coder if the provider is not supplying codes at all.
