Medicaid Non Participating
« on: December 10, 2009, 10:12:33 AM »
Hi,

My question "Is it possible for a provider to be participating with Medicaid in one state and non participating in another for ex participating in Nevada and non participating in Arizona.

Thanks,

No the provider is rendering services in one state only.  The patients are from different states.

Yes, you can be par with one, but not the other. Most providers don't par with out of state medicaid, unless they see a lot of clients (bordering states) It is usually hospitals that will be a par provider with another states medicaid.
