MEDLOOK
« on: January 11, 2011, 06:31:32 PM »
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, but I downloaded a demo to view about a week ago, and for some reason, that program had something that was corrupted in it and it corrupted my Quicken Program.  So now, I am trying to recover all of my personal and business banking info (and not having much luck).  I've talked with them and they claim my computer was the one that had issues and not their program (sorry, but my computer and programs and registry was running absolutely fine till I downloaded that demo!).  what's even more irritating is that he told me that he has heard of other complaints from people who had similar issues..........

So just beware........

I'm not understanding how our Quicken would be harmed by any other demo?

Okay, so how is this your computers problem.  If the rep is telling you this and is sounding like it's not that softwares fault I would not invest time, energy and money into them.  Now you have to recover all that info and it seems like they aren't trying to help or offer you advice other than it was your systems fault.
