Thank you.

PMRNC:
What does your contract say? If you allowed this in beginning you will want to wait until the end of the contract term provide notice and new pricing schedule.

I for one am glad to see a practice business model coming to light!!!  Let's start getting paid what we are worth and leaving thode overhead charges off the table!

Thank you!!!

Just to add to this.. IF you are the one with the software (License, access, login, etc) and then you change contract to have them maintain all costs, so too should you transfer said licensensed and support with full access.. My business practice model does NOT cover software costs at all, no support costs, etc .. BUT it's the clients license, account, etc. In other words if they were to decide to terminate the contract they would do so and "I" would be the one to discontinue the "access" to THEIR system. IMHO, you should NOT charge costs of software that are propietary to your billing company. you can build these costs into their fees, but you really can't cut them off from total control/access/licensing and expect them to pay for your license/access/control. I should have clarified that in my earlier post. I don't HAVE a particular software, I utilize the clients PM system or choice of systems.

Thanks for the additional information. I do need to make sure it make the switch as to where I am completely out of that piece.
