If a provider's credentialing hasn't been completed yet for a group, and the owner of the practice signs off on the provider's progress notes can you bill under that provider or should the provider not see patient's until he is fully credentialed with that particular payer? I have been told as long as the owner of the practice which of course is an MD, and see's patient's as well that its ok to do that, but this seems like a really gray area if you ask me.
