Instead of purchasing the actual book and waiting 'forever' to have them delivered, what is the best website to use for looking up codes? willing to purchase memberships to look online. is looking online better, equal to, same, etc compared to having actual book in hand?

So far I really like : http://www.billingcodinglibrary.com/ Our members receive discount. I like them because I can load them on my iphone/Ipad or even as ebook :) VERY reasonably priced too :)

is this for both diagnosis and cpt codes?

I saw the email from Ms. Alice about the new codes for mental health. On her email, it says that 90846, 90847 and 90853 will remain. I have information from APA that says the 90832, 90834, and 90837 are with patient and/or family member. My understanding is these codes are replacing 90846 and 90847. I know this is new, and kinks are still being worked out, but I HATE CHANGES....(and yes I am in the wrong field if I HATE CHANGES.....I know, I know)lol

I actually saw the entire list in another group. If I can remember where and get ahold of the lists pdf I will try and post here.

Also they are taking away I think 90806 for mental health (I think briefly skimmed the list :-\ ) and replacing them with more detailed ones.

I posted the full coding change update in this thread: http://www.medicalbillinglive.com/members/index.php?topic=6879.msg20028#msg20028

The 90832, 90834, & 90837 are replacing the 90804, 90806 & 90808.

I've already stumbled on that site, but I wasn't able to register as a member because I suddenly got a job from a medical coding outsourcing company (http://www.infinit-o.com/healthcare/services/medical-coding-outsourcing.html) here in our place. However, I think that it's quite reasonable to take into consideration these online resources we have these days. Some people have had difficulties dealing with these codes before because technology wasn't that advanced then. It's great news that you can use your smartphones for these now, right? ;)
