Hello,

Does anyone know how to bill colon hydro therapy? What are the CPT codes to use for this procedure?

Does the insurance cover?

I have not billed that before but most of what I read is that it is not recognized by most insurance carriers.  The following CPT codes appear to be related to colon hydrotherapy:

74283 - therapeutic enema
97139c - unlisted therapeutic procedure (removal of impaction)
45915 - removal of fecal impaction of foreign body
45999 - unlisted procedure, rectum or anus
91123 - pulsated irrigation of fecal impaction
5609 - obstructing intestines
