Is cloud-based/internet-based my only option???

Hello All,

So are Lytec and Medisoft about the only actual software programs left out there??? It seems like everything is cloud/internet based that I am seeing. Can anyone give me other options on actual software???

Go look at MDOnlnie, they offer both :)  .mdon-line.com

JMO, but Web/ASP is the best way to go for many reasons. No one was more against it than I was a few years ago. Remember when you get a standalone your NOT getting/buying the software.. ONLY a license.. same as the others.

Also don't worry so much about your own solution. I found one that worked for me ONLY if I had a client who needed a solution, otherwise many many practices have already invested time and money into their PM systems and in order to keep competitive you should be ready for any PM solution.

TotalMD has actual software (they have both installed options and an online option).  It is less expensive than both Medisoft and Lytec and far better in my opinion and I've used all three of those (I use TotalMD now).

TotalMD is the third vendor we established a discount with recently as well. I've only briefly seen the software, have not had time to play with the demo but seems very user friendly.
