Yesica, code 96368 is a non time based add on code  The patient is seen in the outpatient clinic for drug infusion. Drug A is administered from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. Drug B is administered through the same intravenous line from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Upon review of the infusion interval, there are only 30 minutes when both drugs were infused concurrently.  so you would have a 30 minute concurrent infusion time of the two drugs.  96368 is not a time-based add-on code, it is reported only once per encounter (regardless of the duration of the infusion) and is reported in addition to the initial infusion code(s)–96365, 96366, 96413, 96415, 96416, 96422, or 96423–when a substance or drug is administered at the same time as another through the same intravenous access.
