I am billing for a Pediatric clinic for PT, OT and ST.  Does anyone know what codes are timed codes and which ones are not, or is it based on what insurance they have.  I know for Medicaid they are all timed in 15 min. time frames and 30 mins for eval.  But for insurance I know at least speech therapy they are not time based for at least BCBS.  I am not sure about PT & ST.  Please help. Thanks.

If you read the description of the cpt code it usually indicates whether it is timed or not.  I don't believe any of the ST services are timed.  Most OT & PT are.

ST is not normally billed in timed increments.  However, Texas Medicaid plans are an exception.  They are billed in 15 minute increments.  I am not sure about other states and their Medicaid billing requirements.
